3 employees. Composting is a climate-friendly practice that helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through replacing chemical fertilizers and diverting food waste from landfills to improving soil health. The use of chemical fertilizer is known to significantly release Nitrous oxide and methane into the atmosphere.
