Edinam Yao Folikumah is a Ghanaian born in October 1985 and a graduate of Takoradi Technical University (formerly Takoradi Polytechnic) in the Western Region, Ghana with Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design majoring in Public Relations and Computer Graphics with high proficiency in Advertising, Event Planning and Management. Also obtained postgraduate Certificate in Start-Up Quest Program, University of Florida, USA. Worked and served in capacities of Supervisor and Branch Manager. Becoming an entrepreneur challenging conventions with creativity, innovation, integrity and high team spirit achieving results beneficial to society summarizes my career objectives.
SDCL is a Real Estate Investment Company and a member of Sons Development Group, a multi-purpose business entity. Its main focus is the utilization of sawdust and plastic waste using Waste Maximizing Technology (WMT) for the manufacture of innovative building materials, suitable alternatives to cement block or concrete and plywood for sustainable national housing development. Our system technology branded “Sons Plastico” involves recycling of sawdust and plastic waste into Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) used in the manufacture of innovative building materials. Our WPC can be formed into various shapes and colours; and is thus used for a variety of applications in the housing and allied industries: Windows, Doors and door frames, Interior panels of cars, Furniture, Flooring, Decking, Ceiling, Railings, Gazebos, Cladding & Siding etc.
