Hendy Farms

Rita Brobey and Sandra Snowden are co-owners and managers of Hendy Farms. After inheriting the farm from their father, the sisters have together worked on upgrading the farm and added a processing plant to expand the farm’s activities beyond Ghana and offer market opportunities to at least 160 smallholder farmers within the Dodowa and Somanya enclaves.

Hendy Farms is an emerging farm in Ghana, contributing substantially to the growth and development of the mango industry. Hendy farms is focused on growing quality fresh and processed fruits for both Ghanaian and International markets, and currently has 9 permanent workers, including the co-founders, occasionally employing part-time and casual workers depending on the time of year.
