Sugarland Limited

Sugarland Limited is an agro-based, horticulture company located in Ghana which started operations in 2008 and was incorporated in 2012. Their farm is an 80-acre lot situated on the Klebu Lake near Asutuare, in the greater Accra region of Ghana. From the outset, their mission has been to be the leading producer of high-quality fruits and vegetables with a value chain focused on environmental sustainability.  To this end, they currently have 25-acre Mango, four-acre Guava and 14 greenhouses, under cultivation, all year round, producing seasonal vegetables in a smart and climate-controlled environment.

Judith Esinam Agbenyega is the Co-founder and Marketing Director of Sugarland limited. She holds a BSC Admin (Banking and Finance) from the University of Ghana and a certificate in Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management from the Ghana Stock Exchange and worked briefly with a brokerage firm. She is passionate about supporting women in agriculture and is therefore currently working with 14 women as contract farmers.
