Philip Deladem Akaboa is a technology innovator with advance expertise in welding and fabrication. Philip is currently the Co-founder and CEO for Cg CSM and has in the past worked on several innovative projects such as fabricating of a poultry feed mixer, a solar powered car and hammer mill machine. As a Technician Assistant at KNUST, Philip assisted students in their project works and taking first year students in basic welding (engineering technology). Philip has an advanced certificate in welding and fabrication from Takoradi Polytechnic and Intermediate certification from Kumasi Technical Institute.
Cg CSM is a start-up which innovates for appropriate low-cost solutions for recycling E-waste. Its current product is the copper stripping machine which is the result of 3 years of research, co-designing and prototyping. Cg CSM provides a low-tech (low-cost) Copper Stripping Machine which utilizes a roller with an option of a cutter to recycle copper wire from E-waste cables as a clean alternative to the traditional burning of these cables (releasing toxic fumes and environmental pollution) by small-scale E-waste recyclers.
