Mr John Afari Idan is an Engineer by training with over 25 years of experience. His areas of expertise include Anaerobic Digestion Systems (ADS) Assessment, Planning, Designing and Construction of waste-to-biogas plants. John has been involved in a number of programmes with a number of United Nation Agencies such as the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) where he was a Team Leader on Bio-fuels, and Africa Roundtable on Sustainable Consumption and Production (ARSCP).

Biogas Technologies Africa Ltd. provides a tailored technology that transforms biodegradable waste materials, such as sewage, cattle and poultry droppings, agro waste, and meat & fish processing waste among others into energy. And in the process, creates green jobs and helps to combat climate change.
