Ghana Bamboo Bikes Initiative

Bernice Dapaah is a prolific young woman popularly known for her insatiable innovative drive in social entrepreneurship. She has recently been crowned with the prestigious CEO Business Award by the Africa Aurora Business Network (AABN) and has been a long-time Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum as well as an Alumni of the Harvard University’s Executive Education Program. Bernice has over a decade of work experience in both the profit and non-profit industries. She is a member of the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on Biodiversity and Natural Capital.

Ghana Bamboo Bikes Initiative is a fore-running social enterprise in bamboo industrialization for the creation of jobs and employment for the growing number of Ghanaian women and youth. They are pacesetters in the production of made-in-Ghana second generation super-crafted bamboo bikes for foreign and local consumption. They strongly advocate for environmental conservation and low-carbon impact through eco-friendly best approaches.
