The Green Run is a 7KM run (or walk, depending on your preference) conceived to raise awareness about climate change and its impacts in Ghana, as well as bring attention to climate change solutions of Ghana’s leading businesses and entrepreneurs incubated by GCIC’s business incubator since 2016. Recognizing the seven SDGs relating to climate change, climate action and private enterprise, the GREEN RUN will total 7KM, starting at El-Wak Staduim, Cantonmnets, Accra.
At the Ghana Climate Innovation Centre, our mission is to develop and support an exceptional set of transformational ventures and entrepreneurs who are pioneering adaptive and mitigating solutions for climate change solutions in Ghana. With the GREEN RUN, we want to heighten awareness on climate change beyond key stakeholders of Ghana’s green economy, and encourage the adoption of climate-responsive lifestyles among the citizenry
